This valet is a handmade tray to store odds and ends. It is made from spalted birch wood which is a very unique wood with a dark pattern in the wood is caused from the heartwood being stained by naturally-occurring fungus spores. (Don’t worry! There are no longer spores in the wood, just a cool black patterning!)
